These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Immersa’s AI processing, cloud features and Immersa Plus subscription (the “Immersa Services”). By using the Immersa Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Apple’s Standard EULA
Your licence to download and use the Immersa application is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement that agreement and govern the Immersa Services. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA about your licence to use the application, Apple’s Standard EULA controls.
2. Personal learning service
Immersa is intended for personal language learning. It can turn images into learning stickers, translations, descriptions, example sentences and other study material. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any image or other content you submit.
3. Immersa Plus
Immersa may include complimentary access before a subscription is required for further AI sticker creation. Immersa Plus provides ongoing access to subscriber features while your subscription is active, subject to these Terms.
The price, billing period and features offered are shown before purchase. Payment and renewal are handled by Apple through your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Apple’s subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple, subject to applicable consumer rights.
4. AI processing and privacy
AI sticker creation may require an internet connection and processing by service providers used by Immersa. The information involved, the available controls and relevant retention periods are explained in our Privacy Policy. AI processing remains optional and can be turned off in Immersa’s settings.
5. Reasonable use
Immersa Plus is designed for ordinary personal learning rather than automated, commercial or bulk generation. We may apply temporary request limits or other proportionate safeguards where reasonably necessary to maintain a reliable service, manage capacity, protect security or prevent misuse.
You must not:
- use scripts, automation or other programmatic methods to generate content;
- resell, share or provide third parties with access to the Immersa Services;
- circumvent request limits or other security measures;
- interfere with or place an unreasonable burden on the Immersa Services; or
- use the Immersa Services unlawfully or to infringe another person’s rights.
We may temporarily slow, pause or restrict access when these safeguards are triggered. Where practical, Immersa will explain that a temporary limit has been reached and when you can try again. We may suspend access for a material or repeated breach of these Terms, but will act reasonably and proportionately.
6. AI-generated material
AI-generated identifications, translations and learning material can be incomplete or incorrect. You should check important information rather than relying on Immersa as an authoritative translation or professional advice service.
7. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the Immersa Services available, but temporary interruptions can occur because of maintenance, security controls, network conditions or third-party services. We may improve, replace or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects an active subscription, where practicable and required by law.
8. Ending use
You may stop using Immersa at any time and can cancel Immersa Plus through Apple. Ending your subscription does not automatically delete your saved library. Immersa’s in-app deletion controls and the Privacy Policy explain how to remove stored information.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable statutory consumer rights. Apple and relevant third-party services may also apply their own terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Immersa Services develop. We will update the effective date above and provide appropriate notice before a material change applies, where required.
